Trust relationship failed

Do you have a login problem with a domain-joined computer?
Do you get a message like image blow?

Windows machines trust relationship has failed

Then your computer is has lost its trust relationship and it has failed.
This happened to me after I needed to restore a server.

If you have access to a local account or a cached account you can still log in on it.

To solve this:
Remove the machine from the domain
and take it back into the domain again.

Remember this!

*Make sure have access local admin account on the machine before removing it from the domain, or else it will be hard to log in

* Make sure to have access to an account that can bring the machine back into the domain after logged in with local admin, and that is connected to a network so it can talk to domain controller.

* If its a windows 10 machine and you can’t log on it, try this guide.

I hope this can help you with the restore Trust relationship that had failed in your domain.

fsck Ubuntu

Do you have trouble with the filesystem is corrupt?
Do you get a message with something like the image below?
Remember this can differ from every situation so, one problem might be very different from any others, in my case I did not have any backup so I did not have so much as a choice just go for it and cross my fingers.

You will need to run fsck on the entire link that the system is complaining about.

It might be that you need to make a choice I picked Yes

I had to do this two or three times, but every time the filesystem link changed.

The command I run look like this

fsck /folder/that/they/are/complaining-on

But after that I was lucky and the system was working again.

Scheduled task as SYSTEM

For Windows Server 2008 (probably works very similar to later versions as well) this is how to change to use the SYSTEM user account when executing a scheduled task:

  1. Go to Start > Administrative Tools > Task Scheduler
  2. In the Task Scheduler window click “Create Task” on the right-hand bar under the “Actions” pane
  3. In the “Create Task” dialog click the “Change User or Group” button
  4. Make sure “From this location” is set to the local machine name (to change click “Locations” button and select the local computer name)
  5. Type “SYSTEM” in the text box and press ok. Under “When running the task, use the following user account:” you should see “NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM“.

Windows Task Scheduler

Are you looking at how to create a Task in Windows Task Scheduler?
We will take a look at how to create one, and we will create a task that will reboot windows at a specific time.

So let’s start

Start Task Scheduler
(press start type task, you should get search on Task Scheduler)

To the right, you have a sidebar, and there you can find Create basic Task, pick it. Next step, name the task and write a description that can be good for the next person to understand what it is.
Next, tell when it should be triggered

The next option is will be based on your open picked, if you pick for example Daily, then you get the option to pick when you want it to run, we can say 06:00 every day with start next day.

Then Next after that.

Pick Start a program

First-row here you point out the script or program you want to run.
Second-row you can add an argument to script or program
In our case, we have added /r

/r = reboot
or else the machine will shut down and not start up until you power it on.

Next, then Finished.

There you go now you have created a Windows Task Scheduler
That will reboot at a specific time.

HEVC encoded on PC

Are you looking for how to convert HEVC to something else?

First of all, what is HEVC: High-Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC), also known as H.265 and MPEG-H Part 2.
Its a video compression standard, designed as a successor to the widely used Advanced Video Coding (AVC, H.264, or MPEG-4 Part 10).
In comparison to AVC, HEVC offers from 25% to 50% better data compression at the same level of video quality,
you can read more about here.

Do you have iPhone or iPad and its storing image in this format and you do not want that you can change it.
You can read more about it here.

It has been hard to find any free application that can do this convert at the moment. Rumors says that iMac och Macbook might have some build-in function that can help you with this for free but has not verified it yet

In my search, I came across Wondershare UniConverter and it can do the convert so, for example, a Synology that not support HEVC can play does move, the same quality but without HEVC encoded.
You try this application on your own risk, and to do full converts it will cost.

If you were looking for HEIC and not HEVC check this post out

Hope this information could be too some good for you and can help you with what you are looking for.

HEIC encoded on PC

Are you looking for how to convert HEIC to something else?

First of what is HEIC: High Efficiency Image Coding (HEIC), is a file format for individual images and image sequences. It was developed by the Moving Picture Experts Group (MPEG) and is defined by MPEG-H Part 12 (ISO/IEC 23008-12). The MPEG group claims that twice as much information can be stored in a HEIF image as in a JPEG image of the same size, resulting in a better quality image.
You can read more about it here.

Windows have released support for it in Windows 10 in Microsoft Store that is free

Do you have iPhone or iPad and its storing image in this format and you do not want that you can change it.
You can read more about it here.

But if you have file that is already in that format and needs help with convert it. I have tried it and it works very well when I tried it.
iMazing HEIC Converter
You use this software on your own risk

If you were looking for HEVC and not HEIC check this post out

Hope this information could be too some good for you and can help you with what you are looking for.

Enable Remote Desktop

So maybe you have set up a server that you want to remote so it will be easier to work with and reach it.

One of the easy ways is that login on the server.
Startup Server Manager (probably will autostart by its own)

Then you pick Local Server on the left side as the image below indicates.
Then there will be a menu to the right click on Disabled with the text to the left saying Remote Desktop as image below.

After you have click on it a new window will pop up “System Properties”
Pick allow “Remote connection to this computer

Now its done, it might need to reboot for it to activate.

Enjoy!
